Ok. Here's the thing. I shoulda been a DJ. All it was was bad looks and a total lack of confidence. Nothing really. Anyway here I am a few years (lol) later with some new (lol) technology just doing my thing in a Bob Harris stylee. He's still struttin' his stuff so why the hell can't I.
Problem is I love all kinds of music. All the way from Chris Rea to Dire Straits.Thank you Steve Coogan for that line.
So, I can't post my blog on a Rock site 'coz they might not tolerate Jazzanova. I can't post on a Soul site 'coz The Cocteau Twins is not their thang. Much as I'll play 60's psych & 70's rock I want to play it all. So in the likelihood of pleasing nobody and alienating everybody I've jumped in the deep end and posted it here.
There is another problem of course. That is the masssive number of Blogs. Podcasts, Internet Stations ALL trying to get attention. BUT what separates me from the rest....Well you'll have to listen to find out. Hopefully I can attract some of you with this the first playlist. I hope you find yourself listening to old nuggetts or new gems or ideally a bit of both. Either way I have decided to not compromise and in the words of that great crooner Sid Vicious to do it "My Way". Just needs me to say now that I will give money for people to like me. Thank You. Paul
